Mark Jefferson is described by Max as one of the best photographers in the world. She also says that he is one of the reasons she came to Blackwell Academy. Jefferson obviously inspired Max and she always loved his deco and goth style. Although she admires his versatile work in print and advertising, she also thinks that he is pretentious and reserved.
In the game, Mr. Jefferson appears in the first scene, after the dream, where Max is near the lighthouse in the massive storm.
In Chrysalis[]
- In Chrysalis, Max can learn the right answer to a question asked by Mr. Jefferson from her classmate Victoria, and then reverse time.
- Max also can reverse time after another dialogue with Mr. Jefferson, after learning a quote by John Lennon from him.
- Rumour has it that Mark had an affair with Rachel Amber, who strangely disappeared a while ago. Max can get this information, when asking classmate Stella in the campus scene.
